The story of survival and adventure lies with this novel written by Daniel Defoe.

This book was first published in 1719.

I wasn't intended to read this book, but I have a book club through which I had to read it. Have to admit I read its simple version for those who wants to learn English and wants to improve themselves through stories.

It was a good read for those who wants to learn English and also wants to learn life hacks.

First let's have a review about the plot of this novel then I will write about my opinions.

This novel is about a boy called Robinson Kreutzner (Crusoe) who sets sail from London to travel the world and do business.

Through his remarkable journey he had faced many difficulties for the first time his ship wrecked by storm and he was then became slave of a pirate who steals the ship he was sailing for. Later he escapes and a ship rescues him and takes him to Brazil.

In Brazil he starts plantation and gets married.

He then decided to sail to Africa to explore the world and make money there; however, he and his friends blown off course in storm. They try to sail to coast by boat, but they all drowned except Robinson.

He is isolated in an island called Venezuelan which he called the island of despair.

He was trapped in this island for 28 years.

Life was hard enough for him with no one but him living in an isolated place.

Later he survived and you can find out his remarkable journey by reading the book.

For me the way he had guts to continue his life, make life out of nothing was so remarkable.

No man can live long without companion, but his survival story tells us if we intend to live our life we can do it in any possible way.

I think I loved the way he lived his life.

He was sad occasionally but still he had many great moments to remember and enjoy.

Many of us want to live in a place where no one live and it will be just us and nothing else. He had that chance and he used it so wisely. He can not say I lost my life because he was the only one living it.

Surely he lost many things yet he learned many things.

Sometimes the distress can put us somewhere unimaginable and unpredictable.

All we have to do is live every moment of it to never give up on life and to keep going.
